KGRL is streamed in 3 different bandwidth flavors: MP3 128kbps, MP3 24kbps (Mobile Stream), and AAC+ 64kbps. Tune in the easiest way with KGRL's Play Now! page that works across all systems, OSes, and browsers. The stream is played via an embedded flash-based player. The player works even on Playstation 3. It's even easy to remember, just remember to add "PLAY" - as in http://kgrl.fm/play.





KGRL is now listed under iTunes Radio! YAY! It only took months of waiting and thumb fiddling to get listed. Look for KGRL under the Alternative and Eclectic genres. Hopefully this will make things easier for those using iTunes.







You can now tune in to KGRL directly by visiting the KGRL mobile website. All you have to do is point your safari browser to http://kgrl.fm. And pick the bitrate you want by clicking on the play button. It's that simple! There's no need to download any player at all! Best of all, you can have it running as a background process! Simply launch the bitrate stream of your choice and exit the browser (by tapping the home button) and you're free to do anything else! However, if you want to browse the internet, I would suggest using another browser. I recommend using Oceanus Web Browser, which is currently priced at a reasonable 99 cents! It supports full-screen view as well, as opposed to the default safari browser.

For those who want a third party player, we recommend two apps: ooTunes (Priced at $3.99. Use the search and type in KGRL) and FlyCast (Free to download. Go to Genres Guide then Alternative. We're listed under Alternative Rock and Indie.).





The KGRL.fm Player Widget, which runs under Konfabulator aka The Widget formerly known as Yahoo! Widget Engine is what we like to describe as "a little piece of heavenly goodness right in your desktop." The fixed version can be downloaded either in zip compressed or .widget format.





Of course, Google won't be left behind... So here's the KGRL.fm Player Gadget for those who wants to use the google engine instead. So yeah, follow this link to install Google Desktop and be on your merry way to having that "little piece of heavenly goodness right in your desktop" google version. You can download it from the official Google Gadget page or in-house: either in zip compressed or .gg format.





A KGRL group was actually created over at Last.fm. Thank you Miss Tesco for creating the group! I see that it has gathered quite a number of members. It's like KGRL grew legs over there. Update: Dieter just created a new KGRL group over at Last.fm as the old group's leader deleted her Last.fm profile. Thanks Dieter!
